1. When did you join CrossFit BC?
I started in 2009

2. Why did you choose CrossFit?
I was inspired to start CrossFit when I constantly walked by the Yaletown gym and saw athletes working hard.

3. What changes in your health, physique and overall performance have you seen since starting CrossFit?
I have reduced body fat; a significant increase in muscle tone and work capacity, including strength.

4. What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting CrossFit?
Just DO IT! Troy, Sophie and Dan are incredible – informative, efficient and result – oriented! Great balance.

5. What is your favourite CrossFit exercise?
Overhead squat.

6. What is your favourite activity outside of CrossFit?
Writing

7. What is your proudest accomplishment at CrossFit?
Getting a banded bar muscle up!

8. Is there something that people would be surprised to know about you?

I like Avenged Sevenfold’s Nightmare

9. What/who inspires you the most?
Crossfit inspires me as it offers me an amazing community. Nobody does it like Troy Straith.
