1. When did you join CrossFit BC?
I joined CrossFit BC on July 31, 2014. I started working strength and conditioning 6 months before starting crossfit.

2. Why did you choose CrossFit?
I’ve always loved running and conditioning. I played soccer for many years at a somewhat competitive level. So I have always loved competition.

3. What changes in your health, physique and overall performance have you seen since starting CrossFit?
My running times have improved even when I haven’t been training specifically for that and I have gotten way stronger. I have also gained about 15lbs since starting CrossFit. (Good weight not bad).

4. What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting CrossFit?
It is something anyone can do. You don’t have to be fit to start – that will come with time and effort.

5. What is your favourite CrossFit exercise?
Favorite Crossfit exercise has to be the Snatch – whether it’s light or heavy. It’s always fun and you can always get better.

6. What is your favourite activity outside of CrossFit?
Ummm… What else is there??

7. What is your proudest accomplishment at CrossFit?
Doing my first CrossFit competition last summer (Pentathawod). Competing has changed the way I train. I used to look forward to doing WODs I was good at and now I look forward to doing the ones I know I’m bad at.

8. Have you made any changes to your diet?
YES! I have started eating way more cookies!!!

9. Is there something that people would be surprised to know about you?
I want a tattoo on my left shoulder.

10. What/who inspires you the most?
Apolo Anton Ohno, was the first athlete that I ever looked up to. He is an American Olympic Speed Skater and has won 8 medals.
